Team Building | Laughter Hidden in Mountains and Seas, Team Walking Warmly Together

As the midsummer breeze sweeps across Jeju Island’s volcanic rock coast, and as the team’s laughter echoes through the lush greenery of citrus orchards, Pinto’s 2025 July team-building journey in Jeju Island comes to a close amidst the blue sea and clear sky. This was not just a healing getaway from work, but also a journey of growth—where original aspirations were nurtured through nature and collaboration, and where team spirit was kindled in the warmth of laughter.

Resonance of Original Aspirations Between Blossom Seas and Rock Waves

On the first day of the team building, we kicked off this journey at Camellia Hill. The early morning sunlight spilled over the camellia flowers carpeting the hillside, where pink and white hues intertwined into a romantic sea of blossoms. As everyone wandered through the flowers, we followed the light and shadow to find the perfect photo spot—blessed by the sun, where we could frame ourselves with the flower sea. Yangyang, the team’s "official photographer," immediately picked up the camera, squatting and leaning forward, repeatedly adjusting angles among the flowers to find the best composition. Due to backlighting, Mr. Zhou even squatted under the scorching sun for nearly 20 minutes, holding a light diffuser to carefully adjust the lighting for each teammate. Sweat beads rolled down his forehead and cheeks, yet he maintained a steady posture throughout, just to make the smiles in the lens look brighter and softer in the gentle light. When everyone stood side by side in the center of the flower sea for a group photo, the smiling faces and blooming flowers complemented each other, as if whispering: The vitality of a team, like this flourishing sea of flowers, requires every individual to bloom to create a splendid whole.

In the afternoon, we visited the Columnar Joints, a corridor of nature’s frozen epic. Black basalt columns, carved by millions of years of wave erosion, stand neatly along the coast like rows of chiseled stone. Standing on the viewing platform, we watched as waves crashed against the rock walls, stirring up sprays of water mist, and the team couldn’t help but pause in awe. It felt as if we, too, were like these rocks—having weathered the test of time yet remained steadfast in our positions, clinging to the original aspiration of upholding quality in the industry. Indeed, the reason Pinto has been able to move forward steadily through storms is that everyone, like these basalt columns, remains firm, fortifying the foundation in their respective roles.

Collaboration Warms Up Between Mountains and Seas

The second day’s journey began with Udo Island, a small island shaped like a reclining ox that hides Jeju’s purest coastal scenery. We rode the island-hopping bus through fishing villages and beaches, letting the summer sea breeze brush against us as we tasted the peanut ice cream from "Udo Prince." Spontaneous cheers from everyone quietly deepened the team’s cohesion, carried on the sea wind.

In the afternoon, we visited Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak, and also explored Seopjikoji and Hyeundae Beach. On Seopjikoji’s cliffside trail, we chatted freely about work and life while facing the sea breeze; in the golden glow of the setting sun at Hyeundae Beach, we chased waves along the shore. These moments away from work fostered more understanding and trust among team members.

The Precipitation of Mission Amidst Humanity and Nature

On the final day of the team building, we wandered and took photos in Hallasan National Park, relaxing our minds and bodies in this natural oxygen bar. In the afternoon, Aewol Handam Park proved to be a perfect spot to soak in Jeju’s artistic vibe. We sat in a seaside café, watching waves crash against the black rocks, and shared our reflections on the trip: Hallasan’s resilience and Aewol’s gentleness are like our team—we need both the courage to overcome challenges and the warmth of attentive service.

The last stop of our itinerary was the Seaweed Museum and Hanbok Experience. At the Seaweed Museum, we learned about the entire process of seaweed from harvesting to processing, and were deeply touched by the craftsmen’s dedication to excellence in every step. During the subsequent hanbok experience, everyone put on traditional clothing to take photos, immersing themselves in Jeju’s cultural charm. This was also where we shared the most joy: teammates helped each other adjust their outfits, strolled arm-in-arm in small groups to take photos, and as everyone gathered to pose, Jiaqi—who had been watching quietly—suddenly said, “I want to join in too! I’ll wear a women’s hanbok!” Her words made everyone burst into laughter. Those ill-fitting folds and playful poses were captured as the liveliest memories of the team building. It turns out that the moment we put on traditional clothing is not just about experiencing another culture, but also a process of softening our hearts in the warmth of the group.

Anchoring the Direction on the Journey Home

On the flight back home, looking down through the porthole at Jeju Island shrinking gradually in the distance, the volcanic cliffs outside still glowed darkly under the sun—much like the memories left by this team building trip, carrying the freshness of sea breezes and the warmth of laughter. From marveling at nature’s craftsmanship at the Columnar Joints to the belly-achingly funny group photos during the hanbok experience, we shed our workplace armor amid an unfamiliar culture and drew our hearts closer through mutual clumsiness and tolerance. The hems of skirts lifted by sea winds, smiles warmed by sunlight, and tacit understanding forged by crashing waves have all become treasures more precious than the scenery itself.

It turns out that the best team cohesion is never about solemn slogans or tense tasks, but about discovering each other’s livelier selves under a foreign sun, amid shared laughter. The winds of Jeju Island may blow away the fatigue of the journey, but these little moments of warmth and joy will ultimately become the strongest force propelling us forward, side by side.
